Editorial: St. Louis leads post-Ferguson: Amnesty is the answer

While the City of St. Louis is canceling over 220,00 traffic tickets and giving minor traffic offenders with outstanding warrants a second chance, some believe this action is not enough. Statistics of the St. Louis area show a history of racial profiling and unfair treatment regarding traffic ticketing and court appearances. The move by the city of St. Louis is the largest recognition yet that the festering wounds left open by the ongoing Ferguson unrest will not be healed without a serious response.
